Here stands John McCain in front of what many thought were one of his SEVEN
houses. Turns out this is Walter Reed Middle School. It was
supposed to be a backdrop of Walter Reed Hospital. Obviously, none of the
people in the audience, and none of the politicians who drape themselves in the
flag, and wash themselves in the blood of our fighting men and women knew
the difference. Here the war hero was supposed to stand, stirring up emotions
of the men and women who suffer inside. The sad reality is that John
McCain is no friend of the men and women in uniform. At least the way his
voting record reads. John McCain has blocked funding for the VA, worked
to sabotage the recent improvements to the GI Bill and worked to make sure a foreign
company was awarded a major US Air Force contract.
Or Maybe I am Wrong. Maybe this was the future men and women McCain
and the war profiteers are targetting for wars in the coming years.
Maybe, if we are lucky we can be like other countries and send 14 and 15 year
olds off to war. Sad, sad, sad.
